What's the one thing everyone would love to have more of?

Most people say 'Time' but I firmly believe it's 'Energy'!

Energy is the most overlooked, but important parts of your life.

Recently I had the pleasure of listening to Rachel McGuinness talk in depth about having 'Zest' every morning!

A big take away for me and an easy one to remember is...

The 5 S's for Fitness

  • Sleep

  • Sweat

  • Strength

  • Steps

  • Sex

  • Standing up at the desk

Back at the beginning of the year I looked at how you can improve your energy levels.  We know, that if  you want to start something you have to have enough energy to to finish it.

 

Energy is a big part of Personal Brand, it's how we come over and how we are perceived.

The following 8 points really do have an effect - check whether the following -

Give you energy

OR

Steal your energy

1. Sleep

Is yours as good as it could be?

Check out that you are doing or have done the following

  • Black out curtains

  • Temperature not too hot

  • Good mattress 

  • Feng sui of the room

  • Relaxing

  • lighting

  • Alcohol

  • Pain

  • Exercise

2. Your Environment - Home and office

  • Feng sui

  • Clutter

  • Things fit for purpose

3. Social media - Does it really give you energy?

  • Monitor you time

  • Limit your time

4. Is your car is it clean and tidy

  • Do you like it

  • Do you feel good in it?

5. Food

  • Digestion takes energy, huge amounts especially some foods, eg gluten

  • Check when you eat are you really tired a little while afterwards?

6. Other people

  • Do they lift you up and give you energy?

  • Do they drain you?

7. Clothes

  • When you look good you feel great, clothes and colour give you energy.

  • If you're feeling down the chances are you'll put on black if you're feeling happy it's more likely to be a fun yellow or orange!

8. Morning routine

4. Take a cold shower! (Try it you'll be amazed at the results)
